MY NEIGHBOUR IS A WITCH
Founded 2023 by Amanda Marin, Moss Seibert and Felicia Nilsson.
We are three passionate queer dancers/performers who like a storm came together through our like-minded strive to challenge norms and love for movements. Creative problem solvers originating from different corners of Europe, from the Very North of Sweden, to the South of Germany and South of Sweden. Through blending our wide spectrum of physical/art backgrounds in the form of sports, contemporary dance, 'showdance', fine arts and yoga. We became a unique spice, whom dare to let vulnerability be our strength. In the sweet spot between joy and tragedy​, creating in the balancing intellectual, emotional, and sensory work. We are crafting pieces with tenderness, through imagination, physicality and playfulness. Focusing on the instant performance present, composing honesty material.
WHO IS THE NEIGHBOUR ?
Maybe it is the person living next door, or maybe the voice inside of you, maybe it's the band at the local pub, or the person you always meet on the way to work, maybe it's your sibling or parent or friend, maybe it is you. Witches have existed globally throughout history, evolving alongside society and historical events, yet remaining a compelling archetype. Provoking curiosity, embodying power and vulnerability, challenging norms and stereotypes. Reminding us of the multitude we consist of and everything we forgot, don't know and get to be understood.
MOSS SEIBERT

As a warm breeze on cold skin Moss will warm your heart. Home, running over green fields sometimes strewn with Canola Flowers. Evenings filled with board games and a fireplace. Where the summers seem to never end and the winter feels like a fairy tale land. Growing like a wildflower, embracing the chaotic joy and caring intuition. Seeing the world through their inner child's curious eyes, melting the cold like a sun, dancing in creativity, just like the wind in your hair.

In the mystery of the night Felicia soars through the sky. Her love of the cold compensates for the endless warmth she shares, touching you with a calm chaos, like the eye of the storm, becoming the wild horses beating in your chest. A wind from the countryside, an irresistible groove, a spontaneous song that will stay with you forever.

As colourful as the northern lights dancing. Amanda will be the popping candy in your heart, shifting between characters in your life. As sweet and salty like the brackish water, becoming the never ending sunset of the stubborn midnight sun. With the capacity to constantly grow everywhere, like a birch tree, strong, full of life and beautiful with or without leafs.​
